Keeping Up With the Torrezes pt. 2

Welcome to the second installment where I give some more background into the lives of the Torrez household.  Caveats from the first post apply here as well.  This one will be somewhat short.  I consider this a good thing, as it means I can switch to more current affairs.

Let's go.

With Delia, Carlos, and Alon now at college, it's just Carmen and her two born-in-game children.  How's that working out for her?

Fantastic.  By the way, the Count's response to the baby was priceless.  He looked like he saw a ghost -- literally!  It was the same animation.

She's not a bad mother, when she's not too busy chasing her dreams.

See? He made it to childhood.  Though he and Felix did spend an inordinate amount of time crying while their mother brought strange men and women into their house.

Hey! It's not her fault that her sexcapades grant her eternal youth.  You tell me you wouldn't!

In the end, she chose her kids... though the temptation loomed on in the background.  Also, she became a Romance/Knowledge sim, as I got tired of her wanting Delia to stop being a vampire.  What? I didn't say anything.  Also, Felix is a Family sim, since he was a little crybaby.

Ever the Family sim, Carmen he arranged arranged for a meeting with one of his brothers, Carlos.

Carmen worked her way up the ranks, while mostly keeping her libido in check.

Felix headed off to college while Manuelo became a teen.  Pleasure sim, like his Daddy.  Speaking of which, this meant that Carmen's celibacy was at an end -- so long as she only slept with Manuelo's father, The Count.

WRONG FATHER! He doesn't even look like Adrian!  Hey guys, wave to Zeeshan Trimble, Felix's father.  Yeah, I don't know why I thought it was a good idea either.

Chess, the other family hobby.  Games actually -- they've got an arcade machine in the house.  But chess is a large source of familial bonding between them.  Not now obviously, as she's playing alone.

Poor kid, searching for a social identity, he rips off the nearest teens' sense of style.

It went well for a few seconds, but they soon discovered they sekritly haeted each other.  Oh well.  Background: Creepy man is creepy...

... and joins him at the food court tables.  Manuelo considers his father's outfit, but decides that a long trench is as close to a vampire cloak as he's willing to get.

Poor kid.  Always the outsider, looking in. ;)

He turns to music to ease his pain.  And acne.  By the way, have I mentioned, that I hate walls?

Music will never leave him, or tease him.

Or say that his father wears cheap plastic costume jewelery, and dresses like a second-rate Bela Lugosi.

He also keeps his dignity totally intact by getting a job at a fast food joint.  And some pokemons.

Well, he did, before he went to college.  And here ends the backstory portion of the Torrez Family.  Hopefully it got entertaining somewhere.  Stay tune for updates on College life (and beyond), for the kids.  And to find out just what Carmen's doing with her free time these days.
