So how are the new mothers doing?
Delia ponders the birth of her baby, her own lack of reflection, and why I gave her the Maxis hair again. (Habit mainly. I waffle. Mostly due to her portrait, and not how she looks in game.)
She doesn't get to think about it very long before she has to flee the rising sun.
Meanwhile Emma gets a new do. The same one I gave Carmen, actually. Creature of habit, I am.
Night falls, and it's Delia's shift with the kid.
... Which she spends sewing a new outfit for Emma.
Hmm. I like it, but not for Everyday wear.
Back to the sewing machine with you!
Delia: *doesn't mind in the slightest*
In her curiosity over what Delia's making, Emma dislocates her neck. Fortunately, there wasn't permanent injury.
Ah, that's a little more like the dormie I remember.
Say hello to the ticking time-bomb of my neighborhood. Somethingorother Reticuli. She's pregnant with Ron
Hey kids! It's toddler-time!
Working on the androgyny early, I see.
Emma is just a little stressed out now, okay? Fortunately Delia is now awake to take over the parenting.
Commence spam:
Much like everything else, apparently parenting is a piece of cake for Delia.
Deirdre gets a makeover, and I notice she seems to be in a perpetual state of surprise. Huh.
Two down, 2 to go. ;)
It's getting to look like Delia will make everything the family needs. *steadfastly ignores the want to purchase a car*
Maybe not. I like the Shane-esque look, but I don't think Emma's the sort to show buttcrack.
Emma: Deathtrap. Deaaaathtrap. Now you try.
Deirdre chooses to get started on the family skill. I have the logic blocks around in case she wants to start on the secondary as well.
You go ahead and take that carpool Emma. Not like Delia put precious vampire activity hours into that car on your right. (I might have been a little delayed in assigning it.)
She's not self sufficient yet, but she knows how to blow off the nanny. WHO HAS DELIA'S ORIGINAL HAIR. DIE BETCH! (I also want to kill her because she's both incompetent and incredibly persistent about being so. It's like playing whack-a-mole with Deirdre's queue.)
And to the left you'll notice a completely useless aspiration reward. (Delia doesn't age, and can de-age someone by three days at will.) I guess Mommy's little addiction runs deep.
Seriously woman, leave Deirdre alone! She's not hungry, she's not tired, and you don't help when she needs to go potty. Meanwhile Emma has a look at her chance card reward.
And it's off to work again. Promotions... helpful.
Delia: Get out of here before I murder you on camera, and project the film onto the wall as a warning to all future nannies.
With the death threats out of the way, Delia has some quality time with Deirdre. Also, I've gone back to the Nouk hair, and changed the lipstick. The downside to her being my "pet" sim is that she'll constantly be fussed with.
Emma has a good look at her mumu...
And decides that a bathrobe is better.
As her eyebrows always look like they're raised, when she actually raises them, it's kind of jarring.
Aww, she grew up well too.
This is as good a stopping point as any, and I would like to get back to the boys in college. Until next time.
