The birth of the child meant it was once again time for renovations. It's still bare walls & foundation on the inside, but it has baby amenities.
Ever the knowledge sim, Xavier skills while watching over the baby. Also, I had just stumbled over the career reward for his last position. Pretty neat. :)
He's pretty adorable when he's being paternal.
It's almost sickening.
Now, prepare yourselves. You are about to bear witness to the most brilliant thing I've ever seen an adult sim do:
No, not the fire... keep watching.
I have never seen a sim do something quite so sensible. I expected him to repeatedly try to run into the fire so he can better panic over it. He did this calmly and autonomously. O_O
Oh knowledge sims, I love you so. Body: Maxed.
Xavier tosses Epsilon into the non-existent chandelier.
There was much rejoicing.
Aww that's too cute! And he has a wicked case of grey-face. Score!
Epsilon wastes no time before skilling logic, while Xavier wastes no time before giving doctoring the kid's milk with brain enhancement drugs.
Nuke it 'til it glows!
Nuclear potty training.
Judging by the plumbob it worked, and it's also bedtime.
Oh right, I got one of those.
It comes as no surprise that Epsilon would only be able to maintain the adorable for so long.
Epsilon manages to get to the potty on his own -- while the Nanny completely fails to. Eww.
Having influence to burn, Epsilon tries desperately to convince the nanny to (a) bathe or (b) garden, hopefully removing the weeds caused by her little accident. I can't remember which.
More adorable father/son moments.
Halfway to Hand of Poseidon.
For the most part, Epsilon ignores the nanny -- like all good toddlers should.
Epsilon: What nanny?
Daddy's home!
D'aww.... I know that he's the only choice right now, but I'm having a hard time thinking someone else could truly supplant him when he looks this adorable.
Xavier Maldicion: Love Boat extra.
OMGZ FINALLY! (Did I mention I'd already found the evul witch, and had been pumping up their rel through the phone?)
Wha? Aww fuck, again? Uhm, let me explain. It seems to be that there's a window of time right after you tell the witch to teach you the path of darkness/light, where you can ask again. If you do, she'll do it twice, and your alignment will jump in the appropriate direction, as you see here. I could be wrong, but this has happened twice now, once with the McCormicks (who I started playing before this fam). In both cases I ended up queueing it twice because I was panicked myself into thinking she was casting Corruptus Locus, and was trying to interrupt her.
Annoying, but the Evil High Witch doesn't seem to mind. At all.
I'm not sure what's going on here. Feel free to make something up.
It's almost a clear shot of him warlock-ified. Counts for something, yes?
Whoohoo! I've completed an objective. Next up, bagging himself a spouse, and I might actually be able to get this legacy truly rolling.
