I started in a fresh, but not clean, neighborhood which I named Tristesse. There are some Maxis premades floating around, particularly Bluewater Village and Simbin sims, but they should be easy to avoid. ;) Also, you might note some magically changing skintones & whatnot as I toss various default replacements into and out of my dl folder. I'm still trying things out.
Deadfaced BS shot. Say hello to
Who may or may not be captain of a bowling team.
Home sweet home.
He's living the good life, let me tell you... Poor knowledge sim doesn't even have a bookshelf. D:
Welcome wagon, with the Gypsy in the background. They all appear to be social townies, maybe. The guys are not really prospects at all, but the woman in the bunch has an interest in the paranormal. Hmm...
Well hey, if someone from the welcome wagon is going to make with the googly eyes at my sim, that simplifies things a lot. It's not like I have
Besides, Xavier likes them easy. So he gets right to work.
Xavier: You, me, a sofa downtown. Sound good? *grabs crotch*
LaShawn: How romantic!
Glad I got that over with. True love in the making right there.
Seeing as his ltw career path didn't show up in the paper, I had him tend bar. So as to pay for necessities like bookshelves, telescopes, and of course double beds.
That wasn't quite as profitable as desired, so he had to swallow his pride (and dignity) to grab a regular job.
Well earned nappytiem.
For the record, no lights, no stove, no internal walls, unfinished walls and floors. But he has a really comfy recliner, an easel, and a computer. Priorities, man, priorities.
With the promotion comes a uniform that allows him to regain his dignity.
Not that he will, mind you. Just that he can.
As you can see, I chose my neighborhood template wisely. That corner will also be where I tuck away my extra Elixirs of Life.
Said promotion came just in time for him to switch careers to the required one for his LTW.
Again with the priorities. No stove, but check out that telescope!
Well hi there.
I know wetsuits are supposed to keep out the cold, but I remain skeptical that he's not halfway to hypothermia.
Such things matter not when Cupid ravages your circulatory system.
Aww... it's mutual. You know what that means...
Skilling, natch.
I splurged and got him a second bathroom. Yes, that is a BUY roll of tp. ;)
Moar skilling!
Not so much tempting fate as slipping it a mickey.
And he couldn't be happier. Just look at that plum-bob!
Hmm. Well he might be a little drowsy, but I'm sure it's no big deal.
Man-ternity time! Unfortunately I missed the first pop... and all the ones that followed.
Some extravagant and frivolous upgrades were made.
They did not go unnoticed.
Xavier: Can you guys do that somewhere else? I'm taking Naxx here.
Xavier pries himself away from the promise of purps to examine the situation.
Ahh, good times, good memories. The thief must have also been a knowledge sim, seeing as Xavier's bookshelf and telescope were stolen. :P On the bright side, the rest of the pregnancy went smoothly.
...Completely without incident. Fortunately my pyrophobic Knowledge sim remained asleep during the event.
Er... I meant to do that. Really.
Hey kids, guess what time it is? XD
Ahh the miracle of childbirth.
Enter Epsilon Maldicion. His other daddy is the Maxis default Pollination Tech. I specify this, because I plan to use the Multi-PT hack at some point. But for now, he's the only alien baby daddy installed. Side note: Ding! Black Sheep objective completed. I can now deliberately roll family sims. Uhm... yay?
Well gee, it seems I have yet to bring in a wife, or go through with my plans to have Xavier learn the dark arts. I guess you'll just have to stay tuned, huh?
